Project Manager at Badgerland Exteriors & Solar

Badgerland Exteriors & Solar is hiring a Project Manager to support our roofing and solar installations. This role oversees day-of job site operations, ensures each project is set up correctly, and maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized site from start to finish. You'll work closely with crews, sales reps, and management to keep the project moving efficiently and to make sure our workmanship standards are consistently met.

This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a well-run job site, and communicates clearly with both field teams and leadership. We're looking for someone steady, reliable, and detail-oriented who can keep projects on track in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up each job site daily with appropriate equipment and protective systems (The Catch-All, Equipter, tarps, plywood, etc.)
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites throughout the installation process.
• Communicate job progress and updates with crews, sales reps, management, and customers.
• Answer homeowner questions as needed while keeping the project moving.
• Oversee end-of-day cleanup, walk-throughs, and completion of punch list items.
• Assist crews in meeting installation requirements and code standards.
• Support material runs or project needs as they arise.
• Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure accuracy in materials, job flow, and timing.
• Participate in training to diagnose and perform roof repairs as needed.
• Typical seasonal schedule expectations: Longer days in busy season (March-November) and a more flexible schedule in the off season (December-February).

Qualifications:

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Comfort working outdoors and supporting hands-on job site activities
• Ability to lead crews and maintain high workmanship and safety standards
• Experience in roofing, construction, or exterior remodeling is helpful but not required
• Ability to adjust to changing conditions and solve problems calmly
• Attention to detail during setup, installation oversight, and end-of-day quality checks

Compensation:

• $25/hour base pay
• Commission opportunities for repair work
• Paid holidays + 2 weeks PTO
• 401K
