Systems Support Specialist

Job Description
Primarily responsible for providing operational support of our systems and services, and engaging in related continuous improvement efforts. Collaborates with compliance staff to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policy and procedure, and to identify, measure, and monitor compliance risk.
 
 Performance Dimensions
  • Provides administrative support for bank-wide systems, establishes users and provides introductory training
  • Coordinates activities related to new product implementation process, testing and support
  • Facilitates product modifications, upgrades and maintenance
  • Maintains systems issues logs, facilitates issues resolutions, provides reporting to Executive Committee
  • Works collaboratively with departments to provide and support client digital banking access
  • Provides support for card solutions, including troubleshooting client issues
  • Participates in the review of losses and fraud resolution
  • Participates in the maintenance of our Enterprise Risk Management program
  • Performs required system audits, monitoring and reporting
  • Participates in Audit Program
  • Serves as Security Officer and BSA back up
  • Oversees the Vendor Management program

 Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of banking experience preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interpret and explain policies and procedures in a comprehensive manner
  • A current understanding of all compliance responsibilities required by law, regulation or best practice
  • Experience in reading, analyzing, and interpreting regulatory and legal information
•Competence with MS Office products and general office equipment
 
Position Description

This position has frequent contact with internal customers and the management team; infrequent contact with federal regulators, external auditors, and bank consultants. This position will have frequent access to confidential customer information. This position reports to VP, Treasury Management.
