Day to day as a Consumer Lending System Administrator

As a vital member of the Consumer Lending team at One Community Bank in Oregon, Wisconsin, the Full Time Consumer Lending System Administrator plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing our mortgage and consumer loan origination systems (LOS). This position requires an in-depth understanding of consumer lending, allowing you to ensure the integrity, performance, and integration of essential systems like Encompass, nCino, LaserPro, and Fiserv DNA. You will be the subject matter expert responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and testing these systems while also conducting training sessions and providing technical support to internal users. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, you will develop workflows and recommend system enhancements to meet organizational needs and regulatory requirements. Your proactive approach will help maintain seamless data flow and system integrity, while your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders will drive continuous improvements in our lending operations.

To thrive as a Full Time Consumer Lending System Administrator at One Community Bank, candidates should possess a robust set of technical and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook, is essential, as well as familiarity with web browsers such as Chrome and Edge. Experience with key loan origination systems like Encompass, nCino, and LaserPro is required, along with a solid understanding of consumer lending regulations and policies. Strong problem-solving abilities will be invaluable in troubleshooting system issues and optimizing performance. Effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating with stakeholders and providing user support.

Additionally, candidates must be flexible, as occasional travel to different office locations may be necessary, along with after-hours availability for system maintenance. A keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus on computer tasks for extended periods are also essential for success in this role.

The position will also be expected to use the following computer programs:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (including Word
  • Excel
  • Outlook)
  • Web browsers
  • i.e. Chrome
  • Edge and any web-based provider website (i.e. SNL)
  • Will be expected to utilize other programs such as:
  • Mortgagebot point of sale and loan origination systems
  • DNA
  • LaserPro
  • nCino
  • Encompass
  • Other programs as necessary

Working conditions:

  • Must be able to travel between offices
  • sometimes with no notice and/or after-hours
  • Must be available after-hours for scheduled systems maintenance and/or emergency support
  • Occasional travel may be required to attend training sessions or meetings held off site or at other branch locations.
  • Physical presence will be required at the bank and some telecommuting is offered for this position

Training/Policy Acknowledgments:

  • Online classes - Online classes are assigned for this position and are expected to be completed on an annual basis.
  • Bank Policies - similar to the online classes
  • Bank policies are assigned to best fit this position and are expected to be reviewed
  • understood and signed on an annual basis. Employees are also expected to attend internal policy training sessions.
  • Other training as assigned

Required Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:

  • At least 2 years Encompass
  • 1 year nCino and 1 year LaserPro system experience or a combination of experience.
  • Knowledge consumer lending rules

  • Clear and courteous communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
